On May 26 Choratan and Vahan were LEDified

On May 26, the Choratan community in the Tavush region and Vahan community in Gegharkunik were LEDified. Choratan LEDification was funded by the Russian Federation within the UNDP “Integrated Support to Rural Development: Building Resilient Communities” project. Vahan village, on the other hand, received energy-efficiency tools with “Bright Border” donations. The coordination was supported by the RA Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund – R2E2, Young Engineers Association NGO, and YES Armenia Programme. We thank Gazprom Armenia CJSC for providing transportation, as well as the driver David, for his flexible and reliable work. Special thanks to our volunteers, Teach for Armenia program students and the community residents; with their assistance, two villages were LEDified – 450 households received long-term energy saving opportunity.
