• What is LED?

LED or light emitting diode is a semiconductor device, that emits light by flowing electric current there through.

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor, which emits light when activated by electric flow.

  • What are the advantages of LEDs?

    • – consume minimum of power,
    • – work much longer,
    • – help to preserve the environment.
  • How much more efficient is the LED lighting?

LED lighting can save up to 90% of the electricity consumed by ordinary light bulbs, and up to 50% of the electricity consumed by the fluorescent and energy-saving lamps.

  • How long do LEDs serve?

Properly designed and manufactured LED lamps can operate continuously up to 10 years. Only strong fluctuations of voltage may affect the exploitation. Products purchased for the “Bright Border” beneficiaries will serve at least from 205-235V, which is much important for the longevity of Your contribution.

Unlike other light sources, LEDs do not burn out. During continuous operation only the output brightness level of the light decreases. Even after 50 000 hours of exploitation the brightness of LED light makes more than 80% of the original brightness.
